Part A & B

Medicare Supplement

Also known as "Medigap Plans", are an option for those with original Medicare. It was designed to supplement and cover the gaps of Medicare A & B. The premiums are higher and increase each year. There is no network or prior authorization, and prescription coverage is not included.

Part C

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage provides Medicare benefits that are purchased and received through private insurance companies. The premiums are much lower and stay consistent. Prescription Drug Coverage

Part D is an option for those with Original Medicare. It covers prescription drug costs. Individuals enrolled in Medicare Advantage do not need to purchase a Part D plan.
